Pronounced "skene-dhu" or "skee-ən-DOO", this knife is another piece of traditional Scottish Highland wear. It is typically placed on the outside of the leg on the dominant hand side (example: right hand, right leg), and tucked into the top of the kilt hose with only the upper portion of the knife visible. Measures 7" long and 1.25" wide, with a 3.5" blade. Each sgian dubh is individually crafted, and comes in different hardware designs and colors. Gem shade can vary in appearance. While choice of gem color (or lack thereof) is available, we cannot complete any special requests on finish color (silver or brass) nor the design on the blade (stag, thistle, lion, etc.).
