The Ladies' Kommando Kilt design is a one-piece garment that fits around the waist and hangs just above or at the knees with pleats to the back, apron (flat side) to the front, and is made with heavy black canvas. This kilt is not available in tartan fabric. Our kilts come in a variety of sizes, which do NOT typically match pant sizes, so be sure to use the Sizing Chart on the FAQ page to ensure the best fit. The Kommando Kilt is not as forgiving in waistband stretch as our tartan kilts are, so please be confident on your size when ordering. There have been cases where a tartan kilt size is NOT the same size for a Kommando Kilt; in these situations, we recommend going up at least one size in Kommando. Standard drop length for our Ladies' Kommando Kilt are 22", utilizing the more-common knife pleating style. Four pockets total are woven into the kilt, with two side pockets in the front and two flap pockets in the back. Our kilts are equipped with leather buckles for a proper and comfortable secure fit. For care and maintenance, we recommend dry cleaning for longevity and stability of the kilt; however, due to the canvas material, this kilt is machine washable, but should still be air-dried. If you wish to make adjustments to the length or pleating style, this can be requested by utilizing the "Add a note" section in checkout. Want a complementary top?
